The A-list actress with an infectious personality Stephanie Okereke in the sixth child of eight children. She has always entertained her family but now she entertains the world. In 1997 she featured in two films called “Compromise 2” and “Waterloo”. A year later she decided to study English and literacy at the University of Calabar she took a break from acting and pursued school. Not too long after, she got a call from Nollywood to act with Teco Benson’s “Terror”. The rest as they say is history. In 2002 Stephanie won 2nd place in “The most beautiful girl in Nigeria” beauty pageant. She then graduated with a degree from Calabar. Stephanie was put on the map and was nominated for eight awards, of those eight awards, Stephanie won two awards for “best actress English” and at the Reel actress awards “best actress of the year” 2003. Stephanie’s’ features include “Private sin, Final solution, Pretender, and Adora which was shot in South Africa.

Stephanie made her mark with the movie Emotional Crack which premiered at the African Film festival in April 2004. With Over 90 films to her name,Stephanie Okereke is continually building her brand in the movie industry. A recent graduate of the New York Film Academy Stephanie has expanded her title to include Director, producer and writer with the introduction of her latest movie: Through the Glass which premiered at the Silver Screen Theatre of the Pacific Design Centre on October 18th 2008 in Hollywood, California. Stephanie is setting her goals to include Hollywood. Stephanie received a Recognition Award from california state legislature and the city of carson for the movie premier of Through the Glass.

In April 2009, Stephanie was honored with a Jewel Award on Saturday at the 6th Annual African Goodwill Awards for her positive representation of African women through her charity work and her evolving movie career. The event was attended by celebrities including the legendary singer Chaka Khan, Actor Isaiah Washington, Comedian & Actress M’onique, Iconic soloist Hope Foye. Stephanie’s passion for community service continues to inspire her dedication to bringing awareness to many issues that need focus in Africa and around the world.

Stephanie’s motor accident on april 30th 2005 changed her life forever and has propelled her to new height that she never thought possible. Her International recognition is only the beginning of her goals for her brand, her passions and her country. He ability to command the screen and capture her audience in every roles she plays has placed her in Nollywood as an A-List Superstar.

Stephanie is the CEO of Next Page Productions and currently an executive of DEL YORK International international a media and marketing communications company, with services ranging from advertising, film production, events planning, digital designs and broadcast communication. In October 2009 for the first time in history an African company will be bringing the New York Film Academy to Nigeria, Africa for a one month crash course to help inspire the next generation for Film industry directors, actors, producer e.t.c.
